Bula's 10-year-old Tawny is the result of a careful blend of wines from several vintages, aged in old oak barrels and made according to the ancient Douro winemaking traditions.
The wine still has reddish tones from the younger vintages in the blend, which contribute freshness and notes of red berries. In addition, it has of course the characteristic golden color of the tawny, which is a result of the barrel aging, where some of the fresh fruit is rounded off into caramelized figs, raisins and other dried fruits. Thanks to the good mix of younger and older wines (the older tawnys contain mostly old vintages), the taste is pleasantly dominated by jam and not too sugary.

About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
