Palmer White 2007 Colheita - Single Harvest Port - has been carefully aged for more than 16 years in very small oak barrels. The wine is from a single harvest year and therefore appears with the characteristics of this particular harvest year in the bottle and 2007 was a formidable year in Douro.
The must from the green grapes has undergone oxidative barrel aging over the years, which has intensified the nuances of the wine and given it a majestic golden color.
The taste is sweet - and not too sweet. It has complex notes of dried fruits, with apricot in particular standing out with great viscosity, creamy body with honey notes, bitter orange peel and a delicate tantalizing acidity that calls for another glass.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
