Aged for ten years at Dow's Boa Vista Lodge, this 10-year-old Tawny retains the bright fruit flavors of a young wine combined with an intense complexity from aging in well-seasoned oak.
With a deep reddish brown color in the center that fades to a characteristic bright aromas of red cherries and almonds combined with caramel and vanilla notes.
On the palate, this wine is mouth-filling, with peppery spice and a hint of marmalade before a full finish with Dow's trademark dry edge.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
