After 40 years (!) of patient aging, this vintage tawny follows Andresen's sympathetic philosophy of waiting longer than other houses to bottle early to get money in the coffers. For the same reason, Andresen has an intact stock of old colheitas, which go back all the way to the 1900 vintage, and overall, there is a timeless, almost Zen-like atmosphere throughout Andresen's rather large cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
