Three decades of maturation in seasoned oak have given this wine layers of complex aromas and flavours. With only eleven or twelve casks available each year, this rare Aged Tawny Port has been selected by Master Blender Charles Symington from stocks of wine that were set aside decades ago by his father, Peter.
With a copper-amber color framed by a pale orange-green rim, this wine displays salty aromas along with elegant floral notes and a hint of cinnamon.
Luxurious and silky on the palate, Dow's 30 Year Old Tawny is extremely refined with flavors of quince, citrus and a stylish, lingering dry finish with nuances of tea leaves.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
