DOW's was founded in Porto in 1798 by Bruno da Silva. The name DOW's originated from the acquisition of a competitor, DOW's & Co., in 1877. The company continued to use this name as a trademark as DOW's had a good reputation in the industry.

About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
