This velvety Singe Quinta Vintage Port, is produced exclusively by Quinta do Pansacal , therefore the terroirs of the estate are truly expressed in the wine. It is made in the years when softer wines are produced, which don't need to lie around for as many years before they taste fantastic. Panascal is located on the steep right bank of the Távora River, and is one of the most renowned vineyards in the Douro Valley. In the local language, they have a saying about the place that goes: " From Roncão and Panascal come the finest wines of Portugal".
The bottle has a deep purple/black color. A sharp marmalade fruit hits the nose, and is combined with a collection of cherries and black plums. A wonderfully delicious port that comes through clearly in the mouth. The taste is rich, full-bodied and rounded, with a lingering and good finish, notes of licorice can also be felt on the taste. Nice tannins are complimented by a strong volume and good balance.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
