Quinta do Vesuvio 2018 Vintage Port has aromas of ripe blueberries and blackberries. The taste is intense and complex with notes of licorice, pepper and berries. The wine is very concentrated with medium sweetness.
The grapes are trampled and the must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for two years in oak barrels before being bottled and released for sale.
Quinta do Vesuvio has existed since 1565. However, it was not until the beginning of the 19th century that Quinta do Vesuvio achieved the status it has today in the production of vintage port.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
