2018 was unusual, and had a significant effect on the wine's character due to extreme weather conditions. As a result, the yield was very low, but the wine quality was top notch.
The tasting notes are impressive with a purple-black core and an intense aroma of forest fruit and blackcurrant. The dark nuances fill the aroma and taste well but also add mocha and cherry. As a classic Taylor's, it has finesse and purity, and due to the climatic conditions of the year, the wine has gained an extra layer of density and intensity.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
