Very exclusive and special 20 year old tawny. It has the perfect balance between sublime complexity for connoisseurs and the characteristic freshness of Viera de Sousa. Delicate nutty aroma with a touch of dried fruits, figs and ripe plum. Very well balanced on the palate and long aftertaste, ending with a subtle flick of freshness on the tip of the tongue.
The wine is a blend of several vintages and even grapes from several locations in the Douro, since Vieira de Sousa has several Quintas. It is aged in old wooden barrels, which allows the wine to age slowly, while also achieving its characteristic amber color.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
