Quinta dos Canais is Cockburn's best vineyard and usually supplies the grapes for all of Cockburn's Vintage Port. Cockburn's wines are generally intense and complex, while maintaining freshness in the wines.
This port wine has a dense, deep purple color. The nose is very welcoming and intense with lots of fruit aromas. In the mouth it is very full-bodied, but a surprisingly supple young wine with concentrated dark fruit flavors (black plums) and a touch of pepper. Beautifully balanced with soft silky tannins.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
