Guimaraens can be described as a "little brother" to the regular Vintage Ports. It is made in the best vintages and transferred to the bottle shortly after vinification. Guimaraens is made to be drunk younger and is more approachable. The grapes for this come from both Quinta Panascal in the Távora Valley and from the two wineries Cruzeiro and Santo António in the Pinhão Valley.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
