Sensory impressions: Ruby red in colour. Aromas of blackberry and raspberry with a touch of spice. Fresh in the mouth with well-balanced notes of cask and tannins. Medium-long finish.

Background: José Maria da Fonseca was a pioneer in producing the first alcohol-free wines in Portugal. The O%riginal brand was developed to reflect the characteristics of the product: An authentic wine (original) without alcohol (<0.5%). O%riginal red wine is produced from the Syrah grape variety and the traditional vinification method. The alcohol is then carefully removed from the wine through a physical process (spinning cone), while preserving the wine's delicate aromas and flavors.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
