The color of a young Vintage Port develops from being jet black in color, closed in the nose and fat as tar in the glass to becoming lighter and lighter in color and with more and more nuances in aroma and taste. After 8-10 years, the wine gets brown nuances on the edge and the aroma opens up. If you have a little patience, a unique experience awaits you. Right now the wine is fresh and fruity in taste and with strength and power. Many people like these young versions, which can be served with pepper steak and heavy strong cheeses. If you wait a few years, you will get nuances of ripe fruit such as figs, plums and dates wrapped in a delicate sweetness and a long long aftertaste.

About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
