The color is reddish brown, nice and clear. The aroma is intense, “thick” and very strong of caramel, a little smoke and fine citrus notes. The taste is pleasant and soft, clean in the notes. Lots of dried fruit, and again caramel, plum, nuts and a fresh light acidity. The aftertaste is medium to long, and lingers in the mouth for a long time.
Enjoy this Quinta do Javali 20 year old tawny in large glasses, preferably chilled at approximately 12-14 degrees.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
