Quinta do Pego har netop frigivet deres special edition af Late Bottled Vintage fra 2018. Her får man kompleksitet, intensistet og typicitet i én og samme vin. I 2018 valgte man nemlig ikke at deklarere en vintage port, selvom kvaliteten var til det. I stedet brugte man materialet til denne vin.
Elegant LBV der byder på en smuk og intens rød farve samt delikat blomsterduft med balsamiske noter. Smagen er fuldstændig frisk og sofistikeret med god fylde og struktur.
Denne portvin kan drikkes nu, hvis man ønsker en ung, koncentreret og meget frugtig smag. Hvis man derimod foretrækker en mere moden og blød portvin, bør man nok vente et par år med at drikke den - og så skal man huske at dekantering er nødvendig for at undgå det naturlige depôt, der opstår fordi vinen er ufiltreret (ligesom Vintage Port). Det er én af grundene til, at man har opnået denne høje kvalitet.

About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
