10 year old Tawny with great complexity and typical aroma and taste of barrel aged port with lots of nuts and caramel. Krohn 10 year old is a specialty. In theory, a 10 year old should be aged for an average of 10 years, but in fact the wine is a type that must be approved by the authorities before export. Krohn actually ages its at least 10 years.
Enjoy cellar-cold with desserts, preferably with chocolate, grilled hazelnuts. Also perfect with cheeses such as brie and camembert. The wine retains its rich bouquet and long flavor for a long time: 3-4 weeks or even longer when stored in the refrigerator.
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
