Impressive black colour. Concentrated aroma of ripe fruit. Full-bodied and fleshy. Well-balanced, ripe tannins. Long, sweet finish. Wine-growing year: Very wet weather in winter and spring was followed by heat, especially in August, when temperatures reached unusual levels. Harvest began in the first half of September, when the grapes showed a healthy condition, high concentration and sweetness, but a relatively low acidity. The yield was average; the quality was very satisfactory and in some cases excellent. VIVINO 4.1 GOLD MEDAL (Monde Sélection 2009, Brussels).
About the Port Wine Cellar
The Port Wine Cellar is a combined port wine bar where you can buy and enjoy a glass of port wine. We are also a retail store and webshop selling port wine.
The Port Wine Cellar has fixed opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The cellar has room for 26 seated guests (+ 4 outdoor seating). Here, in addition to enjoying a glass of port wine, you can also enjoy a port wine drink or order a tapas platter.
